From Passion for Sound’s’ review of the R70x Refine , first published on August 20th, 2024:

"From the moment I plugged these in, they've never failed to impress (at their price). The sound is balanced and natural. They're easily one of the most spacious and best-imaging $300 headphones I've tried. At their price, they're absolutely phenomenal."

From Joshua Valour’s review of the R70x Refine , first published on August 13th, 2024:

"One of my favorite headphones at $300 already. My favorite Audio-Technica headphones so far."

From SoundNews ’ review of the R70x Refine , first published on August 21st, 2024:

“The note separation, the sound stage, the depth, the midrange purity, the tone and timbre, the easy-going nature, the affordable price point…there’s a lot of value here."

From Forever Analog ’s review of the R70x Refine , first published on September 6th, 2024:

"The Refine really shines in the midrange, with a full sound that instantly hooked me. I was skipping from track to track, trying to find a song where these headphones would let me down and they just never did." -Forever Analog

From Z Reviews ’ review of the R70x Refine , first published on September 16th, 2024:

"Being pleased is rare. These please me....They're so lightweight. You could take these into space because they wouldn't even notice these on the space shuttle....the sound is light but heavy, everything about it is warm, smooth. There's no shrillness to anything....they're a warm pot of soup....it's a nice place to be." -Z Reviews

From Master Marslander ’s review of the R70x Refine , first published on September 20th, 2024:

"This is a nice place to be! I'm super impressed." -Master Marslander

From Wave Theory's Review of the R70x Refine , first published on September 21st, 2024:

“The Refine lives up to its name. It has a more refined, complete, and overall convincing sound than original model. If I had to pick between the two, I’d take the Refine no question.” -Wave Theory Reviews

From Barra's Review of the R70x Refine , first published on October 6th, 2024:

This is the wow! Somehow, these headphones capture the favorite parts of each of my much more expensive headphones and compellingly combine them. They get better as more power is applied so mileage may vary, but when driven well, they offer my HD800 spacial experience, my Audese LCD low-end and euphonic, and my Hifiman HEX detail. While this is not going to beat any of these headphones individually, it gets very close which is amazing for the price. The euphonic quality also makes them easy to listen to for extended periods and spacial elements allow comfortable listening at elevated volumes.

From Zadius Tech's Review of the R70x Refine , first published on October 5th, 2024:

“It’s everything I hoped it would be. It’s a great-sounding headphone. These are the most open-sounding headphone that I’ve heard. They’re really airy and open with a wide soundstage. They’re great for both music listening and gaming.” -Zadius Tech

From IGN's Review of the R70x Refine , first published on October 17th, 2024:

"9/10! With the new R70X Refine & ModMic 2 bundle, Apos and Antlion Audio showcase why a DIY gaming headset might be exactly what you’re looking for. Like always, cable management is a pain but the end result is one of the best gaming headsets you can buy." -IGN
