The Apos SMSL-1 Ensemble is a bundle designed to provide you with a premium audio setup straight out of the box. At the heart of this ensemble are the SMSL SU-1 MQA Audio DAC and the SMSL DA-1 High Resolution Power Amp—a dynamic duo that's essentially the Ensemble’s very own Iron Man and Captain America.
The SMSL SU-1 DAC features the XMOS XU-316 chipset and AKM AK4493S DAC, supporting PCM 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 for high-resolution audio. It includes MQA technology for enhanced sound quality and offers versatile connectivity with USB, coaxial, and optical inputs. Housed in a compact CNC aluminum alloy design, it provides durability and excellent heat dissipation.
The SMSL DA-1 Power Amplifier delivers 65W x 2 of output power using an American TI power amplifier chip, ensuring robust and reliable performance. It features a POP sound control circuit for a smooth startup, a compact design for flexible placement, and a short signal path for enhanced sound quality. The amplifier also includes a high-current adapter and supports RCA inputs, making it ideal for audiophiles seeking a budget-friendly yet high-quality amplifier.
