This 30W tube/digital hybrid amplifier goes minimal where other amps get fussy. A simple RCA input, volume knob, and speaker wire binding posts are all you need to experience classic tube sound from your passive speakers.
30W per channel
The MT-605 uses a TI TPA3116 amplifier chip to easily drive your bookshelf speakers with a maximum output of 30W per channel.
Warm tube pre-amplification
The MT-605 creates its warm analog sound by first passing the music through a nine-pin 12AU7 vacuum tube. A classic of the tube world, the 12AU7 is easily replaced and rolled.
Tubes will roll
You’ll love being able to swap the stock tube for other tubes. Each tube has a different sound signature, adding or subtracting qualities like warmth, detail, and soundstage. It’s a fun way to play with the sound signature of a single amp, often for less than $30 a pop. Just be sure to find a reputable dealer of tubes before buying.
Aluminum alloy shell
There’s more than meets the eye with the MT-605. A sandblasted aluminum alloy shell is a delight to operate, providing long-lasting protection and style.
